Jennifer + Chris | wedding

Jennifer & Chris had an intimate backyard wedding for their close family and friends. I love those kind of weddings. When I arrived the love and emotion in the room as Jennifer got ready was palpable. Everyone was so excited for the ceremony! Her dad was so cute when he saw her for the first time. It brought tears to my eyes. The sentimental part of me was in love with all of the personal details throughout their wedding-from her grandpa marrying them to their beloved flip flops throughout the wedding. What an amazing day with an amazing family!

From the bride about the rest of their DIY part of their wedding: “My sister-in-law, Moe, bought a plain tiered cake from Wal-Mart and placed roses on it.  My mom was in charge of the wedding concept, design and decorations; she bought most stuff from Quilted Bear and Michael’s.  We got a lot of our food/drinks at Costco.  My make up was done by my sister-in-law, Michelle.”
