So the day of Marisa and James’ engagement session a HUGE storm blew in and totally ruined our plans. So….we decided to reschedule, but I asked if we could take a few pictures of them in the rain since we were all dressed up with no where to go 😀
Marisa and James were totally up for it and then we got really wet….ok they did.
And it was fun…
and saucy!
And totally worth it! The next day we went out to shoot a week later another storm came in…not even joking. Luckily it missed us (ok so we had to wait and drive through it a bit) and was just a lot of amazing clouds and rainbows and we were able to finally shoot!
Um yes, how gorgeous is Marisa’s engagement ring!?
The rocks were still wet and we drove out of the storm to find a spot to do what we had planned next….
You can see the rain in the shot. It was raining all around us so we drove farther west and the powder paint fight could finally happen!
They were covered. We got the pictures done and we all had an amazing time. And just look at those clouds!!!
Plus we got a beautiful sunset to end our night. Thanks Marisa & James for being so easy going!!!
On this rainy cold day, it made me think of another rainy (well two rainy!) days we tried (and finally succeeded) in getting Marisa and James’s engagement pictures done!!!

What good sports!! I bet they love every single one of these, they’re all so fun.
Sometimes the first plan isn’t the best one for sure 😀 They do love them thankfully!!!
Ooh I am loving all of this! Location and ideas and images=perfection.
Thanks so much Cody!!
