Utah Mountain Engagement Session | Terra Cooper Photography | Katelyn + Scott

We tried to do Katelyn & Scott’s engagement session the week before, but the winter/spring weather had another plan for us and I’m so glad it did because Monday was perfection.  The sun was out and it was gorgeous!!!  We headed to Pineview and while driving I saw this little strip of heaven and we had to stop and get a few shots.






Then we headed over to the lake and got some shots with the beautiful mountains in the background as well.




Katelyn and Scott are super easy to photograph, as you can plainly see.  They met through a friend and Katelyn didn’t realize Scott was interested in her.  Well the moment she touched his shoulders to say goodbye, he knew he had to know more about this girl.  How cute is that!?


So Katelyn doesn’t like to have her face touched.  I can relate because if you touch my belly button, you may get punched.  She was SO nice to let me have Scott touch her face…many times.  I wasn’t trying to be mean-it just looks so romantic when a man takes his woman by her face and brings her in close 😀






Um yes-this is why I love my job.  I mean they are like movie star gorgeous-but much nicer!




We got to my favorite spot just in time (almost didn’t no thanks to the person going 40 mph in front of me!).  I may have been yelling at them-don’t they know the sun was about to set behind the mountain!?!).  😀




The sun rays were perfection and lit up her hair so gorgeous.




After the sun went down behind the mountain they hurried and changed into another gorgeous dress (she got both at Dillard’s) and we got a few more on my favorite mountain.






Katelyn had her make up and hair done by the fabulous Alex Crabtree.  She was so nice to reschedule for us when the weather ruined our first date!
