Navy’s platform is STEM From Your Comfort Zone designed to empower young women in STEM fields. STEM standing for science, technology, math, and science. This is near and dear to my heart because I will never forget the first time walking into my Project Lead the Way class, having been so excited to have been accepted, and seeing 0 other girls. I then realized the need for women in this industry! I’ve partnered with SheTech, B~STEM and also run @s.t.e.m.queen on Instagram to encourage young girls.

Rachel’s platform is Choose Your Own Statistic: Taking a Look at the Positive Numbers. She is very passionate about statistics and how we go about sharing them, particularly with youth. There are so many kids out there who are in various difficult circumstances or cycles, that don’t realize they have the power to change. She chose her platform to further share that while we may not be able to control our past, we can choose whether we will remain in those situations or break the cycle and create a beautiful new statistic.
As program director of the Ivy foundation, she has the opportunity to share this platform with the youth we meet, and work with and is grateful for the chance to share my passion with my community.

Camille is passionate about getting wigs for kids. She wants to show that something as little as a hair donation, which we don’t even need to live, can bring confidence to others and help them feel beautiful. She offers discounts to customers where she styles and cuts hair if they donate their hair.
