So we kept getting rained out everywhere and on the day of the shoot it looked like it was going to clear up. We headed out to Antelope Island because it looked the most promising and as you can see from the pictures….the rain came. Luckily it was just torrential wind and a few sprinkles, haha, but we stuck it out since we were out there and I am so glad we did because I think we got some really amazing shots!
Luckily it looks awesome when Bailie held her hair back….it was more out of necessity, but it sure looked good!
We tried to find refuge behind some big rocks and found a little break from the wind.
I.LOVE.THIS.ONE. ^
We decided to try one more spot and am so SO glad we did because it was perfection. Her gown by Elizabeth Cooper Designs was just made for wind!
We ended the night by taking a few shots not in the wind at my new studio. Bailie is such a classic beauty and one of the sweetest girls I’ve met. I knew I had a down to earth bride when she put on a camo jacket on our way out to Antelope.
Bailie and Mike’s windy formal session is on the blog today 😀
