Featured Vendor {Chris McClain Productions}

I first saw one of Chris’ films this summer and instantly became a fan. It wasn’t long after that we got to shoot an amazing wedding together, Kylee & Seth’s. Chris is super fun to work with and had creative ideas. He seems to capture pure emotion and feeling just by moving the camera and he always sets it to amazing music as well. His films {and I say films, not videos, because once you see them, you will see why they are films!} are cinematic beauty and I hope you take a minute to watch some of them. You will be hooked I promise! I also really believe that photography and videography are totally different fields and that you really need both at your wedding. There are things at weddings that either photographers or videographers can just capture better. It is the one thing that I really regret not having at my wedding (not that I didn’t want one!).

I’ve always had an interest in film and video!
I started filming when I was about 10 years old because it was a great way to pass time and create something unique. As a kid, I traveled a lot so I would always videotape everything on my trips to document it so I could one day look back and re-live it. As I got older, I would always love to look back and see what I looked like, where I went, and just see everything how it happened. I remember feeling so much joy and happiness watching one of my videos at disneyland when I was about 15. It felt like I was there! I could see and hear everything and it really felt like I was there again!
Now, I film weddings! Why?? Great Question! I think I do it because I genuinely love being around people that are happy! What better to film than a wedding then?? There’s so much joy and happiness surrounded by these incredible events that need to be captured and remembered! One of my most favorite comments I get after delivering my wedding films to clients is;
“Wow!”
“This is Perfect!”
“This is my most favorite thing from my wedding!”
and
“Photos and Video are the only things that matter in the end!”
and finally…
“This was the best money we spent on the entire wedding!”

I have a cinematic eye from studying many different filmmakers which make my wedding films more movie-like than video-like and I genuinely have a blast doing what I do because I know that what I’m creating for my client will become something that is truly priceless to them. They will treasure it; their kids will love it; and grand kids will adore it.
