Shooting in the mountains is always an adventure 😀  We started our session with a first look and Shaun had the perfect reaction when he saw Shelby-he said, “I really like your dress—honestly!”  and was totally sincere about it (I guess she had shown him two different dresses and this one was his favorite).  I loved her dress too-I’m a sucker for lace.  Then we went in search of a field (which we never found), but instead found some rally amazing locations along the side of the road.  After that we went to a cabin that Shelby loves.  To get there we climbed over a barbed wire fence (I only got two holes in my pants), navigated around lots and lots of animal poop, listened as a large critter scratched inside the cabin behind us (hoping it wouldn’t come out and kill/spray us :D) and ended the night with some gorgeous sunsets over the lake.  It is always an adventure and that’s another reason why I love my job so much!
