Joseph Kony {invisible children}

I watched this film today and it is really powerful.  There are a lot of other great organizations out there trying to help Africa-this film did a great job at bringing awareness to its cause.   Joseph Kony needs to be brought to justice, along with MANY other leaders of these civil wars.

Women For Women – Helping women survivors of war rebuild their lives.  I currently sponsor two “sisters”, Rose in Rwanda and Josee in the Democratic Republic of Congo.  I love this organization because it gives women education, job and life skills.  When you educate a woman, you educate a village!

Falling Whistles – this organization is trying to bring awareness to the child soldiers in the Congo. It is a campaign for peace and ask you to wear your protest and be a whistleblower for peace.  My amazing friend Hannah Goodrich gave me my whistle for Christmas.  Such a thoughtful and worthwhile gift!
