When Ben’s mom called me looking for a wedding photographer-we ended up talking on the phone for quite some time and I knew I would love working with her and her family. Then I got to talk to Ben and Anny on the phone and just was even more excited! I love when I can just connect with people and know so quickly just how fun they are going to be. I mean, look at these two-they make me smile just looking at them together!
They wanted a more formal look for their pictures so we headed to the Utah State Capital Building-only to find it was being used inside for an event. Luckily the outside of the building is just as gorgeous…unluckily, it was about to snow outside. Anny was such a good sport with her dress on freezing to death. You would never know it was as cold as it was! This year’s winter has been so warm-it has tricked us into thinking it was spring in February!!!
This picture below is one of my favorites-you can literally see how much in love they are. I love when Anny laughs and her nose and eyes scrunches up. So cute! We laughed a lot and the time flew by-even while freezing!
How gorgeous is Anny’s engagement ring!?? Well done Ben! I lost my wedding ring three years ago and get a little sad every time I photograph a wedding ring because I miss it! I haven’t got a new real one though because I don’t want to buy diamonds-another story for another day!
