Today I want to tell you about one lens that I personally can’t live without. This lens captures one of the most important symbols of a wedding day, the rings. 😀 You have to have a macro lens to be able to capture the details of such a small object. I use the Canon 50mm 2.5 macro lens, which is actually a super affordable lens.
Check out some of the rings I have been able to capture with this little beauty of a lens:
I love also using it to capture all the little details on a baby, like their cute little toes and feet! If you don’t have a macro in your lens bag, you probably need one! I got mine at my favorite store, Pictureline.
Now go check out one of my other favorite lenses that my friend Erin Summerill loves too!!!
Love my macro lens for Ring shots! And those are some GORGEOUS rings!!
I love this lens! I have a 105 macro for Nikon, but your lens is amazing. Ring shots are so much fun. And your ring shots are beautiful.
Terra I love these shots!!! Okay, I am thinking I might need this lens now….
What beautiful work. That is a great lens, but it wouldn’t be without the talent behind it!
This lens is on my “someday list”. Killer shots, love the variety, so cool to see all the ways you used it. I love the temple door! Usually when I get up there I’m so stressed by all of the irritated people waiting behind me I’d never think to do that!
BEAUTIFUL! Love the details! Kinda makes me wish I shot Canon, but I’m a Nikon girl at heart! 😉
Favorite lens! AH!!!
Wow, this is such an incredible lens! I love the ring shots, especially the one on the doorknob to the SLC temple, so creative and perfect!
So pretty! You’re making me want that lens! I like the different ring setups.
