Man yesterday was SUPER windy! My assistant almost blew away holding the reflector! We started on Antelope Island and decided to leave before sunset because the wind was so bad. At least it blew away the bugs 😀 Brittany and Jeff just laughed about getting blown away in a hurricane. Hannah Goodrich did her hair and make up and Jeff couldn’t stop saying how much he loved Brittany’s hair. It was so cute 😀 We started with a first look and I told Jeff to close his eyes until I told him to open them. He squeezed his eyes so tight it was like watching a little kid when you are about to give them a surprise.
After designing some magazines for my inspiration shoots, I thought it would be so fun for brides to have an actual magazine of their weddings. So here is the first of them for Niki & Daniel’s wedding. It is fun to have it more as magazine articles because Niki was able to do some journaling of what she wanted to remember on her wedding day. The “ads” are her vendors she used and she even wrote things about each of them. This is NOT to replace traditional albums because these are not long lasting, but are more for presents for your wedding party/family/vendors and a fun way to show off your wedding and remember all the fun details in an interesting way. Leslie and Dano met at BYU. She is from Michigan and he is from California/Utah. Their family came from all over to see this awesome couple get married. They were all smiles as they came out of the temple and continued smiling all day! We had a lot of fun dancing on the balcony overlooking the valley after the rain stopped. The sunset was beautiful and their family and friends were beyond nice and really fun to photograph. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day! Good luck in your world travels you two!
