Ainsley + Jeff {wedding}

Ainsley and Jeff’s wedding was so much fun. Seriously, you can just tell from the pictures how much fun their family and friends had! I loved her gorgeous flowers! They had a variety of colors and all of them were different! She had such a glamorous and classically beautiful wedding at the Oakridge Country Club. Niki + Daniel {magazine album}

After designing some magazines for my inspiration shoots, I thought it would be so fun for brides to have an actual magazine of their weddings. So here is the first of them for Niki & Daniel’s wedding. It is fun to have it more as magazine articles because Niki was able to do some journaling of what she wanted to remember on her wedding day. The “ads” are her vendors she used and she even wrote things about each of them. This is NOT to replace traditional albums because these are not long lasting, but are more for presents for your wedding party/family/vendors and a fun way to show off your wedding and remember all the fun details in an interesting way. Lavender {album}

I love photography, but I also love designing things. It goes back to when I used to scrapbook like crazy. So after doing my French lavender inspired shoot I decided to make a magazine out of it. You can come see it in person at my next two bridal shows this Saturday at the Grand America and next Saturday at the Davis Conference Center. Click on view full post to see more.

Ainsley {bridals}

Ainsley was married today so I can finally post her bridals. She wanted an modern Old Hollywood style shoot and her dress really made it perfect. She got it at David’s Bridal and it really was one of the funnest dresses I’ve got to photograph. It is great when girls that have curves show them off instead of hiding them. Her friend came along and we were able to use one of the great vintage cars from Lomond View Nursery and were able to take some other ones at the Ben Lomond Suites Hotel. Her make-up was done by the amazing Hannah Goodrich.

Roaring 20’s Inspired Fashion Shoot

This shoot was inspired by this London Double Decker Bus. It came over to the states from England on the last voyage ever of the Queen Mary. When I saw it, I knew I had to do a shoot with it! I have always loved the glamorous style of the 20’s and wanted to do a shoot that showcased that era, but in a modern way. So I partnered with a local dress company, Danielle’s Bridal, and we got two amazing models, Heather and Chloe, and my favorite make-up/hair artist, Hannah and two days later we pulled together this shoot. I was even able to get a blue 1937 Buick Special – series 40, suicide doors: This car is unique in many ways, one of the early designs of the legend Harley Earl, gangster style with the trunk back design. I loved the idea of having the color palette being red, white, blue and black. It seemed so classically American.
