McCall + Mike {wedding}
What a day this was! I started the bad luck by dropping my lens right before family pictures and totally breaking it. Then McCall’s brother {her brothers are acrobats-just look at the picts!} got a bloody nose doing a hand stand, then one of their guests fell down the stairs of the temple. Luckily once family picts were over it was good luck from then on out! Her family is hilarious and kept cracking up Ryan and I (Ryan Hinman was their videographer).
Amanda + Ben {formals}
Amanda and Ben wanted to do a preshoot at the temple a couple weeks before their wedding and they were sure glad they did. It was so busy and we just loved that we just needed to get family shots and a couple of them and be done. It made for a stress free temple day for sure. We also did a first look at the capital and Ben was SOOO excited to see Amanda. He just kept saying “You look SO GOOD!!!” You couldn’t wipe that smile off his face. I loved it.
Amanda + Ben {wedding}
I am super behind on posting on my blog all that I’ve been doing all month. Here was my first wedding from the month. Amanda and Ben wanted a Tiffany’s style wedding with lots of white, Tiffany blue, pearls and plenty of bling. It turned out gorgeous! They and their family made most of the decor and it was so pretty. We also did a pre-shoot at the temple which is THE BEST THING you can do if you are getting married in the temple. Better lighting in the evening, relaxed shoot, less people at the temple, less stress on your wedding day….I pretty much love them if you can tell! Amanda and Ben were so happy when they excited the Salt Lake Temple. Click on view full post to read and see more from this wedding!
Hillori + Jared {wedding}
All week long the forcast for Hillori and Jared’s wedding said it would be a blizzard-even until the day before their wedding. Well I wore 4 pairs of leggings and 4 shirts, brought umbrellas and it was a GORGEOUS day! It wasn’t even that cold, even with snow on the ground from early that morning. So I guess from now on I’ll just plan on blizzards to get gorgeous weddings 😀 Hillori looked so pretty and everyone loved her dress. Her make-up and hair was done by the fabulous Hannah Goodrich.
Brittnie + Tony {formals/temple pre-shoot}
I think I am loving these temple pre-shoots, especially when I get to do them with my friend David Perry of David Perry Films. 😀 We always have a great time-Travis even came to help out and came up with a cool shot of the couples rings floating in the reflection pool with the temple as the reflection. Very nice 😀 I really do love pre-shoots for temple weddings because their wedding days seem to get pretty full and this makes it so you don’t need as much time at the temple-so that means less stress on your wedding day, and who doesn’t want that? Another great thing about them is you get to shoot when the groom actually sees the bride for the first time-which doesn’t happen in the temple. I loved when Tony saw Brittnie-he couldn’t stop smiling and hugging her. It was so cute. Brittnie got a gorgeous bouquet from the Window Box and her dress was from Gateway Bridal.
