Amanda + Stan {wedding}

Amanda and Stan have the cutest style. Amanda wanted a non-traditional, laid back wedding. It was at the beautiful Cactus and Tropicals in Salt Lake City. I loved having all the fresh flowers around. Between smelling the Cafe Rio catering and the beautiful flowers-everyone was pretty much in heaven. I think my new favorite color combination at weddings is the yellow and gray. It just always looks so good together! {I might change my mind next week, but for now, I love it so much!} They had soda in glass bottles, which makes it taste better I think-plus a place to recycle the bottles, which I also loved! Their family and friends were tons of fun and we had a great time watching all the cute little kids dance. Congrats to you both and I hope you had a wonderful time in Mexico! LUCKY!!!

Leslie + Dano {wedding}

Leslie and Dano met at BYU. She is from Michigan and he is from California/Utah. Their family came from all over to see this awesome couple get married. They were all smiles as they came out of the temple and continued smiling all day! We had a lot of fun dancing on the balcony overlooking the valley after the rain stopped. The sunset was beautiful and their family and friends were beyond nice and really fun to photograph. Thank you for letting me be part of your special day! Good luck in your world travels you two!

Maria + Chris {groomals}

Maria and Chris are both in the Air Force and that is where they met. Maria has the most beautiful red hair and natural beauty. I love red hair in pictures! I loved Chris’ hat and suspenders-so classy. Well on this shoot we drove up a canyon and I was car sick before we even got to the freeway, so by the time I got out of the canyon I was super sick (I get carsick sometimes, but not like this). Then when we got out to do our first location I started seeing flashes of light and got really dizzy. But who needs to see to take pictures, right?! 😀 Luckily the flashes stopped and I was able to see to take pictures-not feel too great, but at least I could see! Anyways, I am super happy with how they turned out and this couple is amazing and tons of fun-plus they were super nice to me all night, even though I was not the most energetic person in the world. Thanks guys! Can’t wait for your wedding!

Tara + Ben {engagements}

Where do I start?! So Tara Lemon is just about the cutest thing ever. {Must be in the name! ;D} I told her we had to incorporate lemons in her session-since she is no longer going to be Tara Lemon anymore. So we added a little lemons, and a lot of laughter and even a tragic-turned happy story at the end. Tara & Ben are one of the easiest couples I’ve ever had to photograph. I just have to put them where I want them and magic happens. They both love to kiss, cuddle and look at each other, so it makes my job super easy. So the tragic/happy story was I got home after the shoot and went to load the pictures and the first memory card I used was gone. I freaked out {then prayed!}, got in my car and drove to our last location. I put on my brights and with a flashlight walked the road. About 2 minutes later I found it on the road!!!! Oh happy day!!! So glad we didn’t have to reshoot because I love these too much 😀

Aubri + Taylor {wedding}

Aubri & Taylor couldn’t stop looking and smiling at each other after they got out of the temple. It was the second of our bright sunny days in a row that we have had in a very long time. Aubri and Taylor were engaged on the temple grounds, so it was even more special to them. I am so jealous right now though because they are in the Carribean on the cruise I did last year! I loved it so much-I know you are having a blast!

Ellie + Brandon {wedding}

Ellie & Brandon are super laid back and fun. They are smiling at each other all the time, so it makes my job so easy. The sun was pretty intense (and right over our heads)-which we aren’t used to in Utah anymore with all this rain we have been having! The flowers at the temple are always so pretty and I love to try to find new ways to photograph them. Ellie did a vintage modern style wedding-she even had Oxford heels instead of traditional wedding shoes. I loved her all white flower bouquet-classic elegance.
