I couldn’t wait to share the first part of Annika & Thorben’s wedding in Scharbeutz, Germany. We started the day at Annika’s parents flat in Hamburg getting ready.
Julia Sieckmann did an amazing job on her make up and hair!
We headed out and drove about an hour north to the Baltic Sea to the Bayside Hotel in Scharbeutz. I loved the clean and classic nautical theme that they chose. It was perfect for the venue.
What happens when the bride enters the room and sees that all of her roses that should have been pink are orange and she really hates orange? Well….luckily in Germany the grocery stores have amazing flowers that are super affordable. And luckily there was one close to the hotel….so her mom got pink roses and my friend Tara and I redid all of the centerpieces in about fifteen minutes just in time before the guests started to arrive!
See-we made it pink!! 😀
I love the feminine blush sash on Annika’s wedding dress. It was perfection on her and with her theme.
Thorben was all smiles from the time the flower girls came down the aisle to when his gorgeous bride walked down with her dad.
We made good use of the orange roses ;D Too bad the wind kept blowing them everywhere!
We had some photo bomber guests hanging out on the balcony. Good thing their robes kind of blend in haha.
It was a beautiful ceremony and even though I couldn’t understand the words, I loved seeing all of the love they showed to each other and their family and friends.
Like I said-all smiles. They couldn’t stop smiling at each other!
It was super windy on the balcony but luckily the glass windows created some breaks in the wind. I was standing by the opening down to the beach and almost was blown away for some of the ceremony, but it was totally worth it!
Stay tuned for more of this gorgeous wedding with these gorgeous people! Glückwünsche!!
