This was the second day in a row I shot with rain chasing me! Everytime we would stop to take pictures, the rain would start a few minutes later. We had quite the entourage with us-Kayla’s mom, dad, grandma, Austin’s mom and my assistant/former bride/friend of Kayla’s Brittnie 😀 We had a great time literally running from place to place. We brought along my pink couch and they brought some cute bikes. The one that Austin was riding was really hard to ride and try to hold Kayla’s hand, but it was really funny to watch! We ended on a dock (not going to say how we got on there…wait there is a picture I think ;D hehe and they danced in the rain. Good times for sure! Thanks everyone for the adventure!!
I was so excited to do Heather and Steve’s engagements. Heather is a huge Harry Potter fan, so I knew we would get along just fine 😀 I brought them a chocolate frog and some Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans to get some cool ring shots with and also to have fun eating 😀 They go to school in Logan, so we did the pictures up there. They even brought along his grandma’s couch to get pictures on. Steve lives with his grandma while he goes to school and a lot of important talks/moments on that couch. They also both love Kenny Chesney, so while we were doing pictures we put on some of his music on my phone and it was fun to jam out to some country ;D
90 mph speeds, near asthma attacks, trespassing (kind of ;D), and a really fun and amazing couple that will make you smile.
Maddi and Jesse are doing a country style wedding, so I took them to some of my favorite country looking locations 😀 Maddi wanted a tractor and my dad has one so we even did some in my parents back yard. He was so funny-he washed it the night before because he didn’t want her to get her clothes dirty. Thanks dad! They are super natural together and so easy to photograph. Travis Richins came along to do a promo video for me and I am excited to see it (and scared too since I am such a dork on in front of a camera!). We were laughing the whole time and my favorite part was when I asked Maddi to hold onto Jesse’s lapels and well, she thought they were his belt loops and gave me a really awkward look, like why would I do that as she lifted up his shirt and I said, “What are you doing?!?” and we all couldn’t stop laughing after that. I am just having so much fun with engagements this month! I love getting to know my couples better and just hang out with some adults sometimes ;D So Amanda and Ben are doing a Breakfast at Tiffany’s style of wedding (we did discuss the movie though and she agrees it is totally weird, but the fashion is great and I agree with her on that!!!} I can’t wait to see all the details they have came up with! Ben gave her a Tiffany’s necklace for her wedding present-we took a pict of it-and he had cufflinks to match. So cute! Usually I get these done in a day, but this session took me two because I stayed up all night one night finishing the Hunger Games! Is anyone else excited for this movie?!?!? 😀
