Hillori + Jared {wedding}
All week long the forcast for Hillori and Jared’s wedding said it would be a blizzard-even until the day before their wedding. Well I wore 4 pairs of leggings and 4 shirts, brought umbrellas and it was a GORGEOUS day! It wasn’t even that cold, even with snow on the ground from early that morning. So I guess from now on I’ll just plan on blizzards to get gorgeous weddings 😀 Hillori looked so pretty and everyone loved her dress. Her make-up and hair was done by the fabulous Hannah Goodrich.
Brittnie + Tony {formals/temple pre-shoot}
I think I am loving these temple pre-shoots, especially when I get to do them with my friend David Perry of David Perry Films. 😀 We always have a great time-Travis even came to help out and came up with a cool shot of the couples rings floating in the reflection pool with the temple as the reflection. Very nice 😀 I really do love pre-shoots for temple weddings because their wedding days seem to get pretty full and this makes it so you don’t need as much time at the temple-so that means less stress on your wedding day, and who doesn’t want that? Another great thing about them is you get to shoot when the groom actually sees the bride for the first time-which doesn’t happen in the temple. I loved when Tony saw Brittnie-he couldn’t stop smiling and hugging her. It was so cute. Brittnie got a gorgeous bouquet from the Window Box and her dress was from Gateway Bridal.
Dani + Zach {engagments}
Zach called me two days before their engagements to tell me he wanted to give Dani her ring during the session. Little did I know he had been teasing her all week with proposal type situations (I love you puzzle in cupcakes, dinner at a fancy restaurant, and flowers being sent to her work repeatedly) . So during the session I told him our code word would be I would bring up football somehow. So I did, posed them where he was squatting down by her and then he turned to her and proposed. It was so cute. She was REALLY happy-then she hit him for taking so long. It was really funny. Then we went onto take more pictures and found some cool new spots on accident too.
