Mikael {senior pictures}

Mikael is the cousin of Maddi-the wedding I just uploaded. Man do they have great genes, right!!?! Mikael is such a sweetheart. She also loves watching America’s Next Top Model {like me :D} and we had fun “playing” for sure. If people were driving past us they would think we were crazy doing our ANTM poses and laughing. I kept referencing Superstar’s scene of SUPERMODEL DOCUMENTARY HOUR! Here’s the link if you haven’t seen it-http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sImj8OoKXVs I had a blast with her and her mom!

Kami {senior pictures}

Kami interned for me last year a lot and it was so fun to have her on the other side of the camera. She is super gorgeous with hair that she is lucky I didn’t try to steal ;D I was on three hours of sleep that day, so it was pretty funny I’m sure for her and her mom to watch me try to direct and just speak sometimes!

Austin {senior pictures}

Austin is the little brother of one of my previous brides, Kayla. As soon as I left my house to do these pictures a storm BLEW in. It was crazy wind, but luckily Austin had a lot of gel in his hair! By the end of the shoot it was POURING rain on us. We all got soaked-his sweet mom came along and held an umbrella over my head for the last few shots. Austin is in Drama and ball room dance and we had to end with a little “singing in the rain” with an umbrella!

Alayna {senior pictures}

I was so excited to do this shoot. For one, I love this girl and her family. I shot her sister Kayla’s wedding in October and I seriously feel part of their family now! They all came, which was really awesome to see them all again. I wanted to make it extra special, so I got some amazing friends/wedding vendors to help me out. Sam from Something Vintage Something Blue {who if you don’t know him is one of the NICEST people you will ever meet, really!} brought two of his fabulous vintage cars for us to use as props. They looked perfect with three dresses we borrowed from Betsy at Modest Couture by Elizabeth and fit Alayna perfectly. After we did her “normal” senior pictures in her regular clothes, my bestie Hannah Goodrich did her make up/hair for the vintage dresses and I seriously don’t know what Hannah does to make eyes pop they way she does, but Alayna’s eyes were popping! She looked so gorgeous! It was REALLY cold and poor Alayna was such a trooper through the whole thing, even when I had her step into what I thought was a few inches of snow and she was up to her knees in the snow seconds later! I took a picture right after-it’s the one where she looks like she is knee deep in snow off the side of the road laughing, thankfully 😀 Thanks everyone again for making this such a fun shoot!
