Amber + Colby {wedding}

Amber & Colby had an amazingly sunny day, when Amber was hoping for a rainy day! That’s Utah weather for you 😀 Amber got the cutest umbrellas and galoshes to go with her super cute short dress. Her flowers were done by Emily from Bloom Street Floral. They had their reception the night before, so it was no stress at the temple. Her adorable kids were even sealed to them and they looked so cute too. She pulled the blue, yellow and gray together and it all looked so fabulous. Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day!

Carli + Chris {maternity}

I love taking pictures of Carli & Chris. I did their wedding and they really still are one of my favorite couples ever! We about froze to death-especially Carli with no coat on! She never complained (have I mentioned how awesome my clients are?!?). We got it done super quick though and even got some hot chocolate from my friend Kelly (one of the locations was in her backyard!). We played with her twins and I bet Carli & Chris were glad they were only getting one baby to start out with (although her twins are the cutest things in the whole world-they are crawling now-enough said!).

Katy + Todd {temple}

I just really adore this couple! So it was like maybe 10 degrees outside and not one of them was complaining about how cold it was. They were troopers and we got some great shots on this very cold Black Friday. The great thing about getting married on the day after Thanksgiving is that there isn’t a lot of people at the temple, since everyone was out shopping. One tip I have for my winter brides is to wear leggings and boots under your dress-you can get the shoe shots at the bridals, or slip them on for a few shots that day-but you don’t have to freeze! {Well at least your legs :D}. Katy’s took my advice and got some super cute boots and a white coat for in between shots & even for some shots. Thanks also to their parents who braved the cold with us and carried coats and my reflector!
