Seriously I love this baby! I just kept squeezing him 😀 For the engagement session at their house we had cupcakes and his mom said we could feed him his first cupcake and it was awesome! He only took a few seconds to start digging in and then it was all over. We ended up having to take the wrapper away from him because he was starting to eat it. I’m sure these pictures will put a smile on your face, because they sure do that to me 😀
We had to do some regular pictures for Amber & Colby’s invitation, so we did some colorful urban pictures. I really had so much fun with them that afternoon and I loved the ideas they came up with for the personality parts of the shoot. I still love these pictures as well though! Thanks Amber & Colby for a fun afternoon 😀
Amber loves to bake and make cakes and wanted to do something in their engagements to reflect it. So one of my friends let us use her amazing kitchen and we just played. This couple seriously has such a natural chemistry together-I know I already said that, but it is true. Amber and I think a lot alike too and she kept doing a pose before I said it, or I would direct her what to do and she would say she was just thinking that. It was so much fun! The best part though was watching our lovely host’s 10 month old devour one of Amber’s cupcakes (and yes I took pictures, and yes they will be up soon!).
Colby and Amber both love basketball and love the Jazz. Colby works at the Energy Solutions Arena and really wanted to get some of their engagement pictures taken there. It was such a cool experience to do take pictures in the arena and we even got to play some ball on the court. My favorite pictures are of them playing one on one together. They have such a fun chemistry together, all I had to do is watch and snap away 😀 Amber wants everyone to know though that the only girl jersey she could get was a Williams jersey and it would not have been her choice to wear that number! 😀
I get asked a lot about what wedding vendors I would recommend, but mostly I get asked about videographers. One of my favorite videographers is Kale Fitch. Our shoot started out super sunny and a perfect temperature, then ended super windy (still sunny) and cold. Luckily Natalie and her mom are troopers and were up for anything. Natalie was super easy to take direction and was laughing {with} me ;D a lot. Some of my favorites are of her just laughing. I love when my brides wear colored shoes and she wore super cute lime green ones. Thanks Liz & Sheila for coming on our adventure!!
