Lukenbach {family}
I met this family last week and found out their baby has the same disease as one of my good friend’s baby had. It is called Spinal Muscular Atrophy or SMA. It is a fatal genetic disease in infants and makes it so eventually the babies can’t move, swallow, and have trouble breathing. I wanted to do something for them, and they needed a family picture, so I told them I could do some for them. The weather was even not too cold, which was good for their sweet baby. I am so grateful I was able to meet them and wish them all the best during this hard time and the hard times to come. It did bring back a lot of memories of another sweet baby Briggers, our little buddy, who would have been 5 this year, just like my sweet boy. I think about you a lot Brigg and am so thankful I got to know you, and from that your family!

This family is my husband’s cousins. I love that they brought some of their martial art clothes/weapons for a few picts. They’ve been married almost as long as we have, so it has been fun to see their travels & additions these years.
Walton {family}
I used to teach with both this mom and dad! They were totally great to work with. It was so fun to see their kids all grown up, especially their baby, who started life at less than 2 pounds!! She is such a doll 😀 I’m so glad we got these done before it got really cold. Oh how I DO NOT love shooting in the winter.
