Jerica + Denton {pre-temple shoot}
Jerica and Denton wanted to do pictures at the temple before their wedding day so that they could just do family pictures and be done and head off for their honeymoon. We got to the temple and lucky for us, it was closed for cleaning, so we had the entire grounds all to ourselves. We were worried that it was going to rain, so we started early. We had clouds for about 10 minutes, then the sun came out and we got super hot. I even found out how out of shape I am when we had to hike back up that hill! It is SO steep- Guess I need to work out :D.

Amber + Colby {wedding}
Amber & Colby had an amazingly sunny day, when Amber was hoping for a rainy day! That’s Utah weather for you 😀 Amber got the cutest umbrellas and galoshes to go with her super cute short dress. Her flowers were done by Emily from Bloom Street Floral. They had their reception the night before, so it was no stress at the temple. Her adorable kids were even sealed to them and they looked so cute too. She pulled the blue, yellow and gray together and it all looked so fabulous. Thank you for letting me be part of such a special day!
Aubri + Taylor {engagements}
I did Aubri’s brother’s (Trevor & Melissa) wedding last year. It is always so wonderful to get repeat clients! Aubri and Taylor met at Utah State last August just two weeks after Taylor got off his mission from Chile. This couple was so much fun and we were laughing the whole time. Taylor is quite the joker, which I love. Aubri said that ever since she was a little girl she always wanted her picture taken under a willow tree. Luckily the willow trees have started to get leaves, so we found 2 really big ones and got some fun pictures.
Shaylee + Jake {guest book}
Shaylee + Jake {engagements}
Shaylee went to a wedding I did in 2007 and took my business card. She has kept it on her mirror since and said she always wanted me to be the photographer at her wedding. I don’t think I have ever been so flattered before! Plus, small world, she is marrying one of my friend’s brother. Shaylee and Jake also were destined for each other. They actually were neighbors when they were little (their parents were friends), and then Jake became friends with Shaylee’s brother when they were older. Shaylee said he was the only friend her brother would let her date 😀 Shaylee said that they went to a concert and fell in love two years ago, but didn’t start dating seriously until last year. Now after a lifetime together (even while not knowing it) they are getting married! During this shoot it rained on us for the first 20 minutes, but luckily cleared up and left us with amazing clouds and light. I wish every shoot had the light/clouds that theirs did at the end-oh heavenly light!
