Niki + Daniel {engagements}
Niki and Daniel are seriously so stinking cute! I asked Niki what they like to do together and she made me a great list. They love to take walks together, go on picnics and drink sparkling cider out of large glasses,have bubble blowing contests, throw a football around, read fortune cookies, go out to eat together, eat sweets, but more than anything, just be together. We tried to incorporate as many as we could in their shoot. Daniel was so nice to let us shoot all evening-but I’m sure he didn’t mind too much because he got to be with Niki 😀 They are such an amazing couple and I am so excited to be with them on their wedding day.

Happy Anniversary Joanne + Elliot
Joanne & Elliot got married on a very sunny day last May at Red Butte Gardens. Their family and friends were so much fun and I remember one of my favorite parts is when they all danced down a line because everyone got into it and they were so great. Now Joanne & Elliot have a beautiful baby boy and I wish their little family all the best in the world.
Nicole + Brendan {engagements}
Nicole and Brendon have the record for booking me in advance-over 18 months to be exact. For Utah, that’s early!! They have been waiting a long time for these and they came prepared with things to showcase them as a couple. They brought their cute little Husky mix puppy-she was so cute! They brought their bows and Brendan’s sweet motorcycle. They braved the soggy mud that used to be hard salt sand (we for sure will get some flooding this year!) and were so happy and fun. Thanks guys for the fun night-and thanks to Brendon’s dad for coming out and helping!
Amy {bridals}
Amy got married this weekend so I can finally post her bridals. It was one of those rainy days and we literally drove east just in front of the storm, taking pictures along the way. We were able to finish just when the storm caught up with us. I love crazy shooting days-most of the time they are my favorite pictures! Thanks to Amy’s mom and sister for coming along for our crazy ride!
Amy + Roy {wedding}
Amy was bound and determined to have an outdoor wedding (so was I!), despite this lovely Utah weather. Luckily for us it only snowed lightly on us during the ceremony, then a downpour of snow in between the ceremony and the reception. It turned out to be a really beautiful day,even though it was a little cold. Her flowers were done by Bloom Street Floral. It was also Amy’s nieces birthday and she was adorable as they sung Happy Birthday to her. One of my favorite parts was when I put Roy in charge of carrying Amy’s train and a few minutes later he asked her if she had her “tail”. So funny-I loved it!! They also surprised Amy by playing Justin Bieber’s “Baby” song as they walked down the aisle after they were married. It was actually pretty cute. They also played a few Christmas carols during the reception for the snow to be funny-and it was. It was great to see so many friends from growing up.
