Jones-Eaton {family}

I was so excited to get to know this family better. They are actually my husband’s cousins and I loved that the kids were excited to know that I was their cousin too 😀 They were so good for me despite how cold it was outside.

Amy + Roy {engagements}

Amy and I grew up together in the same ward. She is such a fun girl and is always smiling. I had fun with her and her fiance and her parents. It was so great to see them too. I love my job so much because I still get to keep in contact with so many people and get to share in one of the most important day’s of their life.

John & David {3 years}

These cute little boys just turned 3 years old. I love how different they look, even though they are twins. I have known their mom since I was 3 years old, so it is kind of fun seeing how little we were when we became friends. One of her boys looks just like her, the other one, just like his dad. They did so good even though they were cold and so not in the mood for pictures.

Happy Anniversary {Ashlie + Jessie}

Poor Ashlie was freezing, but toughed it out for a few shots with the temple. Of course it stopped snowing ten minutes after we left the temple! I hope you two have had a wonderful first year of marriage!

Monét + Jared {Venetian}

This last weekend I was able to go to Las Vegas with David Perry and Russ Broadhead of Castle Bridge Films to shoot some pictures of David’s sister Julienne {Monet} and her husband Jared. They were married last month, but were unable to get some pictures at their wedding. David wanted to to to Las Vegas to film some of his advice segments for BrideAccess.com and I couldn’t say no to a Vegas trip, even if it was literally for just hours 😀 We went down on Nascar weekend though and it took us over an hour to get from the exit by the track to the Venetian. By the time we got there there was only about 20 minutes of light left so we were rushing to get shots before the sun set. My Pocket Wizards even decided not to work (I had to change the channel a few times while shooting to make them work!), but I think in the 20 minutes we got some cool shots. Julienne even designed and made her fabulous dress and balero jacket.
