Burgess/McDermott {Family}

I took these right before I left for California and knew they would be so understanding for me to get them up a little late! So thank you!! Their family was all in town for a wedding and their mom wanted picts with all of her adult children. So here they are!! Thanks for waking up so early after a night of partying to do these 😀

Gough {family}

Well it finally stopped raining so I could do this family’s pictures! We had scheduled it two weeks ago, but it felt like March and looked like a swamp 😀 I hope this nice weather is here to stay! These kids were such a mix to me-some thought I was funny, some not so much, and I even made the baby cry once {which I’ve never done!}. Luckily we got some cute shots of all of them-despite me 😀 There were a ton of other people in the park, along with a couple that got engaged right in front of us. It was fun to see.

Summer + Riley {wedding}

I flew out to Sacramento on Wednesday and shot this wedding the next morning. It was a really bright sunny day with a few thin clouds in the sky. The following days were cold and rainy-and when I got home it has been the same! Summer’s family made the food for the reception and her sister and sister in law’s made the best toffee and cake pops ever! I had a lot of fun dancing and talking to all of their family. I have known Summer’s family for almost 11 years and they always make me feel like part of their family. Congrats to you both and I hope you had a wonderful time in Tahoe!

Shaylee + Jake {wedding}

Shaylee and Jake were married at the Chantilly Mansion. It had been raining all week and just cold, so they decided to have their wedding indoors. The weather turned out to be beautiful and the sun even came out that day! I do love the interior of the Mansion and love all the natural light it has in it. It is great for pictures! Shaylee was I think the most excited bride I’ve ever had. She got into her dress more than an hour before the ceremony started-you can just see how excited she is in the pictures!! They had the Window Box do their flowers and I loved all the pink and peach colors mixed with greens. It was all so gorgeous. I also love bridesmaids in black-it is so classy and timeless. Her mom even found some really long sparklers at Zurchers for their send off that actually lasted even after the couple left in a vintage black car. What a beautiful day for a beautiful couple! Have fun in Vegas Baby-hope your Lucky socks work Shay!
