I was so excited to do Katie’s senior pictures. I have know her since she was 13 and she has always been such a beautiful girl. It was raining the WHOLE time we did these (it got bad toward the end)-and the wind was pretty bad too-luckily, it does look good in some shots to have it look like we have a fan machine 😀 Thanks to her mom and friend Brooke for braving the cold with us!
Amanda and Pete told me they didn’t like getting their pictures taken. But they were so natural and fun together that you would think they loved it! They met at Westminster College at the Olwell dorm and so they wanted to have some of their pictures taken on campus. It got pretty cold towards the end, but the wind made for some nice pictures. I love the hat that Amanda brought-she really pulls off the vintage style well.
Jerica and Denton are so easy going and love nature. It was a gorgeous, cloudy day today (my favorite) and this couple is so natural together, it was so much fun to shoot. Jera’s mom came along and it was a lot of fun to get to know them all better. I shot at a location I’ve never done pictures at, but was waiting for the right couple and a cloudy day and it all worked out perfectly! We also revisited some of my ghetto spots and when we pulled up people started to scatter. I tell ya, I think I know where the drug deals are going down!! Good times 😀 After I got to go eat at one of my favorite places, La Ferrovia, because I could swear I was smelling their bread while we were shooting!
Join me at the Kaysville Sportsplex on April 16th at 7:30 pm for food, carnival games, basketball, volleyball, a silent auction and more! This fundraiser is to benefit my friend, Laurie Moss Johnson, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Laurie is like one of my little sister’s and it is so hard for me to see her go through this. She is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met. If you or your business (or someone you know) can donate any products or services for the auction, please contact me. If you can’t just come to the Carnival for a great time and donate there! Leslie & Dano met their freshman year at BYU. Dano then served a mission in Liberia. They started dating again when he got home and now they are getting married! They were really fun to talk to and I can tell they are both very mature and know what they want in their life. They will be moving around a lot in the future for Dano’s job, so I hope I get some cool postcards in the future! They decided to do their engagements in Provo since that is where they met. We were able to find some color in Provo, even though spring refuses to come this year!
