Nicole + Brendan {engagements}

Nicole and Brendon have the record for booking me in advance-over 18 months to be exact. For Utah, that’s early!! They have been waiting a long time for these and they came prepared with things to showcase them as a couple. They brought their cute little Husky mix puppy-she was so cute! They brought their bows and Brendan’s sweet motorcycle. They braved the soggy mud that used to be hard salt sand (we for sure will get some flooding this year!) and were so happy and fun. Thanks guys for the fun night-and thanks to Brendon’s dad for coming out and helping!

Amy {bridals}

Amy got married this weekend so I can finally post her bridals. It was one of those rainy days and we literally drove east just in front of the storm, taking pictures along the way. We were able to finish just when the storm caught up with us. I love crazy shooting days-most of the time they are my favorite pictures! Thanks to Amy’s mom and sister for coming along for our crazy ride!

Amy + Roy {wedding}

Amy was bound and determined to have an outdoor wedding (so was I!), despite this lovely Utah weather. Luckily for us it only snowed lightly on us during the ceremony, then a downpour of snow in between the ceremony and the reception. It turned out to be a really beautiful day,even though it was a little cold. Her flowers were done by Bloom Street Floral. It was also Amy’s nieces birthday and she was adorable as they sung Happy Birthday to her. One of my favorite parts was when I put Roy in charge of carrying Amy’s train and a few minutes later he asked her if she had her “tail”. So funny-I loved it!! They also surprised Amy by playing Justin Bieber’s “Baby” song as they walked down the aisle after they were married. It was actually pretty cute. They also played a few Christmas carols during the reception for the snow to be funny-and it was. It was great to see so many friends from growing up.

Aubri + Taylor {invitations}

I am super excited about this new line of die cut invitations. This invitation folds to a 5×7 and has one flap with a decorative edge. Aubri wanted bright happy spring colors for her invitation and I think we were able to get her personality in these. Contact me for pricing.

Shaylee + Jake {invitation} Traditional vs. Trendy

Traditional or Trendy? With wedding invitations there are endless options now. The great thing is you as the bride can choose what you like. Look at this very similar invitation, with just a few things to make it more trendy. On the right there are added textures, patterns, design elements and the text is not in paragraph form. I love the fact that there are so many different kinds of brides out there because that means I get to do all kinds of designs 😀 Contact me for pricing.

Daphne + Matt {wedding}

I was hoping for no snow or rain yesterday and we just had a little before Daphne & Matt came out, and then it was just cold and windy. Luckily though the temple grounds are amazing this time of year and despite the cold, it looks so happy and colorful. Daphne was frozen, but had a cloak and gloves to keep her a little warmer. Thanks to Matt’s sister and her friend for coming and freezing with us! Also thanks to Tyson who carried around umbrellas and a reflector (it was that kind of day!) for me. Good Utah weather for sure 😀
