Melissa {très chic}

So this shoot started with watching man and a woman trying to break into a van, with the woman sitting on top of the van with half of her butt hanging out. We called the police then headed to the next location which we had a man come and scream at us to stop taking pictures or he would break my ** camera. Needless to say, we had a lot of fun! 😀 But really we did. My friend and amazing hair stylist Hannah Goodrich did Melissa’s gorgeous hair & make-up and came along with us for all the fun. Melissa is hilarious and was playing around the whole time, which makes it fun to photograph! After we went to one of my favorite restaurants, La Ferrovia, for lunch. If you love authentic Italian, it’s on 25th street, just east of Lincoln.

Jones-Eaton {family}

I was so excited to get to know this family better. They are actually my husband’s cousins and I loved that the kids were excited to know that I was their cousin too 😀 They were so good for me despite how cold it was outside.

John & David {3 years}

These cute little boys just turned 3 years old. I love how different they look, even though they are twins. I have known their mom since I was 3 years old, so it is kind of fun seeing how little we were when we became friends. One of her boys looks just like her, the other one, just like his dad. They did so good even though they were cold and so not in the mood for pictures.

{baby} Isaac

Seriously I love this baby! I just kept squeezing him 😀 For the engagement session at their house we had cupcakes and his mom said we could feed him his first cupcake and it was awesome! He only took a few seconds to start digging in and then it was all over. We ended up having to take the wrapper away from him because he was starting to eat it. I’m sure these pictures will put a smile on your face, because they sure do that to me 😀

Jessica {tres chic}

Jessica is a photographer too and we are in a Facebook photography group together. For one of our meet-ups we decided to take pictures of each other so we could use them for our blogs, etc, because we are usually never behind a camera. It had snowed a ton the night before and even snowed on us during the shoot, but we still went out and shot in the beautiful snow. I love trees with snow on them and the lighting was so nice too. It was perfect except when I was shooting in the trees and hit a branch with my flash and got dumped on! My hair was pretty flat after that-and it already is! Oh well, it was still lots of fun. Thanks Jessica for coming and playing with me!
