Aubri {bridals}

Aubri wanted beautiful flowers for her bridals, and what is better than pink blossom trees and tulips? 😀 It was supposed to be bad weather, so we left early and got some great cloud cover for our pictures. Have I ever mentioned how much I love clouds?! While going back to their car to get some lights Aubri’s friend and I tried to get into, well someone else’s car and after a few tries figured out it wasn’t Aubri’s mom’s car! Then while getting the lights out we almost got hit-well squished in between the cars-by a little old lady driving a really long car. We were not having the best of luck in that parking garage. All in all it was a great night-thanks ladies!

Jerica + Denton {groomals}

Jerica and Denton have been dating for six years. Denton competes in rodeo and we wanted to get some pictures that had more of a country feel to them. Lucky for us there were plenty of open fields near Manti and the rain waited just long enough for us to get some pictures. Jerica and her mom made her bouquet and did such a great job! I’m sad I won’t be with them on the actual day they get married, but I wish them both the best and hope they have an amazing time in Mexico!!

Modest Couture by Elizabeth {product shoot}

I met Betsy, the designer of the Modest Couture by Elizabeth’s line, at a bridal show and fell in love with her dresses and with her. She wanted to get some pictures of two of her new dresses and I was happy to take them. She brought two amazing models with her, Katie & Jenny, who were amazing to work with. We ended up having to do it a little earlier in the day than we had planned, but it was really fun to bring out my studio lights in the mid day light and have a challenge! Thanks to Brent from Lomond View Gardens for letting us borrow your amazing cars. I was literally running from place to place trying to get as much as I could in the 90 minutes we had to shoot all of it and it kept us on our toes for sure. Thanks again girls-it was fun!

Monèt + Jared {Vegas night}

We had a ton of fun walking on the Strip at night. Everyone was congratulating the bride & groom and cheering for them. Some people asked if they were really married and others thought they must be someone famous with all the cameras that were on them. It was so awesome shooting with David Perry and Russ Broadhead and hopefully another Vegas trip is in the future for us, especially if we get to eat some gnocchi at Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill in the MGM. I seriously would be in so much debt if there was a Wolfgang Puck’s in Utah. I’m kind of addicted 😀

Monét + Jared {Venetian}

This last weekend I was able to go to Las Vegas with David Perry and Russ Broadhead of Castle Bridge Films to shoot some pictures of David’s sister Julienne {Monet} and her husband Jared. They were married last month, but were unable to get some pictures at their wedding. David wanted to to to Las Vegas to film some of his advice segments for BrideAccess.com and I couldn’t say no to a Vegas trip, even if it was literally for just hours 😀 We went down on Nascar weekend though and it took us over an hour to get from the exit by the track to the Venetian. By the time we got there there was only about 20 minutes of light left so we were rushing to get shots before the sun set. My Pocket Wizards even decided not to work (I had to change the channel a few times while shooting to make them work!), but I think in the 20 minutes we got some cool shots. Julienne even designed and made her fabulous dress and balero jacket.

Liz {bridals}

Our shoot started out super sunny and a perfect temperature, then ended super windy (still sunny) and cold. Luckily Natalie and her mom are troopers and were up for anything. Natalie was super easy to take direction and was laughing {with} me ;D a lot. Some of my favorites are of her just laughing. I love when my brides wear colored shoes and she wore super cute lime green ones. Thanks Liz & Sheila for coming on our adventure!!
