Amelia + Josh {engagements}

Well it was a little windy yesterday….wait…A LOT windy yesterday! Luckily Amelia’s long hair looks good in the wind. I was one hand shooting and holding my lights/soft box for dear life to get some sunset shots for them. The light stand was literally lifting up off the ground while I was trying to hold it down. They also brought their cute puppy…I mean HUGE dog, Zena, who can only be fooled by the fake ball throw once…then gets upset 😀 She didn’t trust me much after that! Thanks Amelia and Josh for hanging in there…literally!

Natasha + Layton {engagments}

Natasha & Layton were such great sports as we braved the stinky, bug infested shores of Soltaire 😀 We carried out tons of heavy equipment, but it was worth it to get some sunset shots. Natasha laughs just like one of my cousins and even does the same scrunchy nose thing, so cute. Layton reminds me SO much of one of my other grooms, Gavin-they could be long lost brothers. They are such a cute couple and so easy to work with! Thanks guys!

Allison + Blake {engagements}

I did these engagements the night before I flew out to Ohio. It was SUPER windy, but luckily Allison’s hair looked great in the wind! The bugs were really mean that night and were biting us-mostly poor Allison. My friend who is also an amazing photographer, Brandee, came out to help and for moral support since I was about to have a melt down earlier that day with all the things I had to do before I left (we put our house up for sale and I got it ready in less than a week and put it up the day I left!).

Kylee + Seth {engagements}

Since I have as of right now 18 entries to add to the blog (I’m a little behind :D) I’m just going to do it randomly! So up next is Kylee & Seth. This gorgeous girl doesn’t take a bad picture! {and Seth-you did great too! ;D). I am so excited to shoot her wedding this fall-I did her gorgeous sister Jentry’s last year. We went all over Northern Utah to get these! The bugs at Antelope Island weren’t biting as bad…but you will see they are happy to settle in the water….and the shore which I had to run through—itching again thinking about it!!
