Falcettes 2011-2012
I love doing pictures of this team every year. This year there was 14 new girls, so it was almost an entire new team. It was so fun getting to know the new girls and have fun getting burned in the sun and fighting off mosquitos! The sun set and we kept shooting when it was dark, and the night pictures turned out really fun too.
Roaring 20’s Inspired Fashion Shoot
This shoot was inspired by this London Double Decker Bus. It came over to the states from England on the last voyage ever of the Queen Mary. When I saw it, I knew I had to do a shoot with it! I have always loved the glamorous style of the 20’s and wanted to do a shoot that showcased that era, but in a modern way. So I partnered with a local dress company, Danielle’s Bridal, and we got two amazing models, Heather and Chloe, and my favorite make-up/hair artist, Hannah and two days later we pulled together this shoot. I was even able to get a blue 1937 Buick Special – series 40, suicide doors: This car is unique in many ways, one of the early designs of the legend Harley Earl, gangster style with the trunk back design. I loved the idea of having the color palette being red, white, blue and black. It seemed so classically American.

Modest Couture by Elizabeth {product shoot}
I met Betsy, the designer of the Modest Couture by Elizabeth’s line, at a bridal show and fell in love with her dresses and with her. She wanted to get some pictures of two of her new dresses and I was happy to take them. She brought two amazing models with her, Katie & Jenny, who were amazing to work with. We ended up having to do it a little earlier in the day than we had planned, but it was really fun to bring out my studio lights in the mid day light and have a challenge! Thanks to Brent from Lomond View Gardens for letting us borrow your amazing cars. I was literally running from place to place trying to get as much as I could in the 90 minutes we had to shoot all of it and it kept us on our toes for sure. Thanks again girls-it was fun!
