I know I am 2 days early on this, but I have a really busy two days coming up and don’t want to be late….again! So Happy Anniversary to Melissa & Trevor!!! Melissa was one of my former 6th grade students, and the first of them to get married. She is such a beautiful girl inside and out and next week I get to do Trevor’s cute sister Aubri’s wedding! Liz and Mike met in their single’s ward. Liz really wanted Mike to ask her out, and when he finally did, they have been inseparable since! Liz also hates winter, so of course on their wedding day, it snowed ALL day long! Liz was such a trooper though, even when her shoes started to bleed (she had got the dyeable shoes and they were an amazing green-but just not mixed with rain!) The night before they had their reception at Eaglewood Golf Course and it stopped snowing right when it started-it was super windy, but no snow. The sunset was amazing. Their family and friends were so much fun to photograph and the kids were hilarious. Thank you Liz and Mike for allowing me to be a part of your special (snowy) day!
This couple has quite the story just being able to get married. It was a long road, but they finally were able to get clearance to be sealed in the temple. Everything has seemed to stop them from getting married and then Amelia had a few things go wrong the morning of, like forgetting the wedding rings :D, and was actually an hour and a half late getting to the temple! Poor Josh thought she wasn’t coming! She was supposed to get married at 10:45 am, but arrived at the temple at 10:45 ! I took a picture of the watch with her bouquet to see what time it was when we took pictures….well about 2 hours after I thought they would be coming out! It will be a story that they can tell for years and poor Amelia I don’t think will ever live down the fact she was late to her wedding!

I was beyond excited for one of my best friends to go to the temple with her sweet twins and be sealed to them. It really is a miracle that these two sweet babies came into their family. I always knew that Kelly would be a great mom-I’m just so grateful that she was able to have that opportunity. In our faith we believe that marriages performed in temples are “sealed,” or blessed to last for eternity. Children that are adopted have an opportunity to be sealed to the adoptive parents for all eternity. It was a beautiful ceremony with lots of happy tears, and baby tears-or as the temple workers called it, “babies voices inside the temple”. For more information about the temple visit lds.org
