Memory Grove Salt Lake Engagements | Terra Cooper Photography | Mary Ann + Mark

Mary Ann and Mark have been on three “first” dates in four years.  Not many couples can say that!  They just kept coming back to each other after life was trying to keep them apart.  I love a good long love story.

Mary Ann and Mark wanted a mix of city and gardens, so they chose Memory Grove for their location.  It fit their personalities perfectly.  There was a huge funeral going on at the park and it was a warm Saturday, so it was packed with people and dogs.  We took some at the park then headed down to City Creek Park for a few more.

Mary Ann served her mission in Brazil and when Mark proposed, he proposed in Portuguese.  Mark speaks Spanish so I thought I would pay a little homage to both languages by writing I love you with rocks.

I found out that they love to play card games so when we were done we sat on the grass and I taught them “idiot,” my families favorite card game.  People that walked by probably thought we were crazy, but it was totally fun.
